The clever architecture incorporates a height restriction by tucking service accommodations and vehicular access below, while the main living areas reside on a single storey above. The design features a pure square flat concrete roof with a central courtyard, supported by protruding masses and extensive glazing, allowing the house to blend seamlessly with its natural surroundings. This innovative layout ensures a harmonious connection between the interior and exterior spaces, creating a serene and inviting environment.
The minimalist architectural language emphasizes simplicity and unobtrusiveness, fostering an open-ended relationship between the user, architecture, and landscape. The courtyard serves as a 'green connector', wind-free and bathed in sunlight throughout the day, enhancing the living experience with natural light and views. Inside, the material palette of off-shutter concrete, painted surfaces, and timber creates a quiet, serene atmosphere that reflects the clients' modesty and refined taste. This modern house is a testament to the beauty and efficiency achievable with clear conceptual design and execution.
